Connective, one of Australia’s largest broker aggregators, has announced the appointment of Lee Postlethwaite as national manager of Connective Asset Finance sales and support.

Postlethwaite, who brings over 20 years of finance industry experience, has previously held key roles at Moneytech, Commonwealth Bank, Westpac, and National Australia Bank, and brokerage Pioneer Commercial Services.

In his new role, Postlethwaite (pictured above left) will lead the Connective Asset Finance sales and support teams, focusing on refining strategic initiatives and building strong, supportive relationships with brokers.

“Lee’s extensive experience and his proactive approach to leadership are crucial for our next phase of growth,” said Brent Starrenburg (pictured above right), head of Connective Asset Finance.

“His commitment to the finance industry and understanding of broker needs will play a vital role in enhancing our strategic offerings and support services.”

Starrenburg said Postlethwaite's approach was characterised by a passion for excellence and a personal dedication to endurance sports, which mirrored the resilience and determination he brought to his professional endeavours.

Postlethwaite said he was thrilled to join Connective Asset Finance, which had a strong 2023, posting a 34% growth in membership and 18% year-on-year increase in asset finance settlements.

“My goal is to leverage my experience to enhance our support systems and help our brokers navigate the increasing complexities of the asset finance market,” he stated.
