Not too often does one find in their business circles something that is unique and different. Something that sets a new standard in the way information and news is spread. Well, I would like to bring to your attention two gentlemen at TBWS (Think Big, Work Small), Frank Garay and Brian Stevens.

Symptoms, Prescriptions and Side Effects
Watching TV in the evening, there’s a good chance that a new prescription drug will be introduced to you. The ad starts out with symptoms of a problem that Americans are experiencing such as E.D., stress, depression, etc. Then the miracle drug is introduced to us and in this section of the ad, it seems that the symptoms can be remedied. I have been busy getting trained at a part time job. It has been decades since I have had to “clock in.” And when I use to clock in, the time clock would actually stamp your time card which was made of paper. Now, you press a button and swipe a card made of plastic. Anyway, I digress………..

Ok, i tune in to watch Frank & Brian at Think Big Work Small every day. They are always great, but sometimes they really knock it out of the park (as in their FDIC/Indymac video), and is demonstrated in todays video (03/03/10). They actually show live taped video of Maxine Waters sparring with Ben Bernanke that will astonish you and leave you feeling frightened. It shows the total lack of understanding some of our top elected officials have with basic financial acumen. Please forward.

They told the story from the perspective of an actual homeowner in Arizona. In a nutshell it appeared to us that One West Bank would stand to benefit from a foreclosure or shortsale in stead of a loan modification.

I still remember the week when 5 of our main lenders went out of business and my husband and I were scrambling to find new ones to replace them. All of our relationships with account executives went out of the window in an instant. You know how it is…That special relationship that you have with your specific AE’s.
Times are changing..In the mortgage industry and in the way we do business.

In the coming weeks, I will be blogging about my life as well as other appraisers and how, because of HVCC, it has changed.
